RoV Pro Gets Lifetime Ban
A professional player from SOLYX Esports received a lifetime ban from all Garena-organized Arena of Valor competitions after being found guilty of gambling while competing. The ban sends a strong message about upholding integrity in the esports ecosystem.
The player who received the lifetime ban has been identified as "4Savage". The sanction was handed down by the RoV Pro League organizing committee following a joint investigation with SOLYX Esports. Evidence confirmed the athlete was involved in gambling activities while registered as a professional player. This disciplinary action bars the player indefinitely from the RoV Pro League and all other tournaments organized by Garena. Garena stated that professional players are considered role models for young audiences, making ethical conduct and professional discipline crucial. The company emphasized its commitment to maintaining competitive integrity and will take strict action against any misconduct, especially gambling. This is not the first instance of a lifetime ban related to betting in the RoV Pro League. In February 2026, two players from Hydra Esports, "Zeenon" and "KTS", also received lifetime bans for "Match Fixing & Betting". Another notable case in Thai esports involved Warasin "Tokyogurl" Naraphat, who was banned for life in December 2025 for using unauthorized software during the SEA Games. The broader esports industry has seen similar integrity breaches. In May 2025, the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) issued lifetime bans to three members of the Mongolian ATOX Counter-Strike team for their involvement in a betting scheme linked to over 70 suspicious wagers. These incidents highlight a growing effort by esports organizers to enforce strict anti-corruption and anti-gambling regulations.
