Tint World Expands Leadership Team

Automotive styling franchise Tint World is leveling up its executive team to support national expansion. The company has appointed a new Chief Development Officer and a new VP of Finance to accelerate its growth plans for 2026.

The new Chief Development Officer, Eric Taylor, has a background in franchise development with brands like Sbarro, Rita's Italian Ice, and Sky Zone, where he focused on accelerating growth and real estate strategy. Craig Martin, the new VP of Finance, comes from a background in audit and advisory, starting his career at Ernst & Young and later serving as a Managing Director at CFGI, a global accounting and business advisory firm. These appointments are part of a broader strategy to support Tint World's rapid expansion. The company has a goal of awarding 85 new franchises and opening over 50 new locations in 2026. This follows a strong 2025, where the company signed 39 franchise agreements and had 56 stores in development. Financially, Tint World has been on a significant upward trend, crossing the $100 million mark in store revenue for the first time in 2025. The top 50% of its stores report an average revenue of $1,066,581 with a 79% gross profit margin. To fuel further growth, the company secured its first institutional investment from Susquehanna Growth Equity in 2025. Founded in 1982 in Tamarac, Florida, Tint World began franchising in 2007 under the leadership of CEO Charles J. Bonfiglio, who previously developed franchises for Meineke Car Care Centers. The company has since grown to over 150 locations across four countries. The franchise has consistently been recognized for its growth and business model. For 13 consecutive years, it has been ranked in Entrepreneur Magazine's Franchise 500®, earning the #1 spot in the window tinting category in 2026. The company was also named to Inc. Magazine's list of the Southeast Region's fastest-growing private companies in 2024. Beyond automotive services, Tint World also offers residential, commercial, and marine window tinting and security film services. The company's expansion strategy includes a store conversion program to help independent auto shop owners transition to the Tint World brand.
