FIFA opened another public ticket sale for all 104 World Cup matches on Wednesday, including the eight games set for SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. (fifa.com) The sale began at 11 a.m. Eastern on April 22, which is 8 a.m. in Los Angeles, through FIFA’s ticketing portal. FIFA said seats were available across Categories 1, 2 and 3, plus a higher-priced “front-row seat” option. (fifa.com) Los Angeles has eight matches on the 2026 schedule, from June 12 through July 10. The U.S. men’s national team opens its tournament there against Paraguay on June 12. (fifa.com) The other Inglewood matches include Belgium vs. Iran on June 15, New Zealand vs. the winner of European Play-Off A on June 18, and Switzerland vs. the winner of European Play-Off C on June 21. SoFi Stadium also hosts two round-of-32 games, a round-of-16 game and a quarterfinal. (sofistadium.com) This is the tournament’s last official sales phase before kickoff. FIFA has been selling tickets in stages, starting with a random-selection draw period and moving into what it calls the “Last-Minute Sales Phase.” (fifa.com) The timing puts Los Angeles buyers inside the 50-day countdown to the first match of the tournament on June 11, 2026. The World Cup expands to 48 teams this year and 104 matches across the United States, Canada and Mexico. (fifa.com) FIFA has not published a fixed inventory for this release, and availability can change by the minute as buyers complete purchases. The governing body has told fans to use only FIFA’s official platform and warned that tickets obtained outside approved channels may be invalid. (fifa.com) For Los Angeles, the new drop is another shot at seats for the city’s highest-demand sports event of the summer. The next milestone after ticketing is the opener on June 12, when the U.S. team takes the field in Inglewood. (cbsnews.com)
