Arrest Made in Deadly Fullerton Stabbing

Francisco Soriano Jr., 27, of Fullerton, has been arrested in Buena Park in connection with a fatal stabbing. The victim of the attack, which occurred in Fullerton, was identified as Daniel Ramos.

- The fatal incident occurred around 8:52 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2026, near the intersection of South Euclid Street and West Baker Avenue in Fullerton. - A witness reported seeing the victim not only being stabbed multiple times but also possibly being run over by a vehicle. - The victim was identified as 42-year-old Alen Sabah Odisho of Anaheim; he was pronounced dead at the scene despite medical aid from the Fullerton Fire Department. - Francisco Soriano Jr. was apprehended by the Buena Park Police Department shortly after the stabbing in connection with a separate hit-and-run traffic collision in their city. - Soriano has been charged with murder, assault with a weapon on a peace officer, and leading police on a chase. The criminal complaint alleges the weapons used were a screwdriver and a vehicle. - At the time of the alleged murder, Soriano Jr. was out on bail for a separate case in which he was charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of criminal threats. - Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Fullerton Police Detective Luis Ramirez at (714) 738-5334.
