Emma Raducanu Inks $3.5M Uniqlo Deal

Tennis star Emma Raducanu has exited her Nike contract, reportedly worth $130,000 per year, for a new apparel deal with Uniqlo valued at approximately $3.5 million annually. Raducanu is also informally reuniting with coach Mark Pecci, with whom she previously held a 66.6% win record (20-10), ahead of her planned return at Indian Wells.

Since her 2021 US Open victory, Raducanu has amassed a lucrative portfolio of endorsements including deals with Porsche, British Airways, Dior, and jeweler Tiffany & Co. Her agent, Max Eisenbud, adopted a strategy of "striking while the iron is hot" to capitalize on her sudden global fame. The move to Uniqlo sees Raducanu following in the footsteps of tennis legend Roger Federer, who famously left Nike for a reported $300 million deal with the Japanese retailer in 2018. Raducanu becomes the first female tennis player to be signed by Uniqlo, joining a roster of ambassadors that includes Federer and Japanese star Kei Nishikori. As part of the new partnership, Raducanu will take an active role in designing her on-court apparel. She will also be involved in the brand's community initiatives, including the UNIQLO Next Generation Development Program, which provides coaching to young players. This apparel change comes as Nike has seen several tennis stars depart in recent years. Players like Jack Draper, Frances Tiafoe, and Taylor Fritz have all moved to other brands, signaling a shift in the tennis apparel landscape. The reunion with coach Mark Pecci is a return to a familiar setup for Raducanu. The British coach and commentator previously worked with her on an ad hoc basis in 2025 and before her major breakthrough in 2021. Currently ranked inside the world's top 25, Raducanu's return at Indian Wells marks a significant point in her season. Her best performance at the tournament came in 2023 when she reached the fourth round, defeating two seeded players before falling to then-World No. 1 Iga Świątek.
