LA Times Festival of Books Lineup
The LA Times Festival of Books (April 18-19) includes Lionel Richie, Sarah Jessica Parker, Roxane Gay and more.
The festival is held at the University of Southern California (USC) campus. It is free to attend, but some events require advance tickets. This year's festival includes a tribute to the late Susan Orlean, a longtime festival participant. Her last book, "Animal Crossings," will be released in October. Other authors and celebrities scheduled to appear include Janelle Monáe, Kerry Washington, and Michael Connelly. Book prizes will also be awarded.
