Fremont Restaurant Week Is On

This year marks the 4th Annual Fremont Restaurant Week, an event that will run for 10 days from March 6 to March 15, 2026. The event has grown since its inception, with over 70 local eateries participating this year, a significant increase from the 40 restaurants that signed up in its first year in 2023. The City of Fremont's Economic Development Department, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, and Yelp Bay Area are the key organizers behind the event. The first Restaurant Week was launched to boost local dining following the COVID-19 pandemic. In past years, a majority of participating restaurants reported at least a 25% increase in revenue from the event. Diners can find a wide range of deals, including prix fixe menus and special limited-time items. For example, Federico's Grill is offering a three-course dinner for $35, while Billy Roy's Burger Co. has created a new Grilled Cheese Cattle Smash Burger for $17. Other specials include a Tandoori Chicken with chickpea curry and naan for $16.99 at Bismallah and $10 fish tacos at El Patio. A "restaurant passport" is available for diners to collect stamps from participating locations. Turning in a completed passport to the Fremont Chamber of Commerce enters participants into a raffle for prizes. In 2024, over 3,000 passports were submitted. A new feature for 2026 is a partnership with DoorDash to introduce an autonomous delivery robot named Dot. Dot, which is manufactured in Fremont, will have its inaugural delivery on March 5 at the Restaurant Week kickoff event. The initial service area for these all-electric robots will include the Downtown, Centerville, and Irvington areas of Fremont.
