T.I.'s Sons Diss 50 Cent
The feud between 50 Cent and T.I. escalated as T.I.'s sons Domani and King Harris both released diss tracks. Domani's "Ms Jackson" delivers brutal psychological shots, while King Harris made headlines for wearing a shirt featuring 50 Cent's mother in his response track.
This recent escalation is rooted in a disagreement over a potential Verzuz battle. T.I. claimed on the "Million Dollaz Worth of Game" podcast that he and 50 Cent had agreed to a matchup, but that 50 later acted unaware of the arrangement once it was made public. This public accusation led to an exchange of insults online, reigniting tensions between the two rappers. The feud became intensely personal when 50 Cent posted an unflattering picture of T.I.'s wife, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, on Instagram with the caption, "I keep saying keep my name out ya mouth, 🤷ok ?". This act prompted T.I.'s sons, King and Domani Harris, to enter the fray in defense of their mother. In response to the post about his mother, King Harris launched a tirade on his Instagram stories, which included insults directed at 50 Cent's deceased mother, Sabrina Jackson. He later escalated the disrespect in the video for his diss track "Sayless" by wearing a t-shirt featuring a photo of Sabrina Jackson. Domani Harris's track, "Ms Jackson," samples the OutKast song of the same name and is framed as a direct address to 50 Cent's late mother. The lyrics question if she would be proud of her son and allude to 50 Cent being a "firebug," a reference to a suspicious fire at the home of his ex-girlfriend. Prior to his sons' involvement, T.I. had already released his own diss track aimed at 50 Cent titled "War." Throughout the beef, 50 Cent has primarily responded with memes and Instagram posts mocking the Harris family, and has suggested he has no interest in a rap battle. He has since deleted the posts aimed at the family.
