Electronic Music Fest Announced

Goldenvoice, the company behind Coachella, is organizing the one-time-only event. Head Trip will be held on October 10 and 11 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, the same location as Coachella. The festival promises a unique experience with a single stage and no overlapping sets. Besides the headliners, the lineup includes Peggy Gou b2b Four Tet, Dom Dolla b2b Kettama, Fisher b2b Chris Lake (as Under Construction), The Blessed Madonna, DJ Harvey, and Seth Troxler b2b Ben Sterling. Head Trip will also host the U.S. debut of Floating Points' Sunflower Sound System, which is set in a dome tent and features tapestries and art by Josephine Chime. The sound system includes unique speaker stacks designed by Floating Points for an immersive experience. Tickets go on sale March 13 at 11 a.m. PT. This event follows in the footsteps of Goldenvoice's previous single-genre festivals like Power Trip (rock/metal) and Desert Trip (classic rock).
