RWA tokenization protocol Ondo Finance has expanded its tokenized stock offerings on Ethereum and integrated Chainlink for trusted data feeds. The protocol also partnered with MetaMask to streamline user access to its tokenized assets, lowering friction for both retail and institutional investors.
- Ondo's flagship tokenized U.S. Treasury product, OUSG, is backed by BlackRock's USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL), allowing for near-instant subscriptions and redemptions. - The recent integration with Chainlink Data Feeds provides real-time pricing for tokenized equities, which enables them to be used as collateral on DeFi lending platforms like Euler. This addresses the previous reliance on scattered or centralized oracles that were vulnerable to manipulation. - Ondo has expanded its offerings to the Solana blockchain, making over 200 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs available to Solana's 3.2 million daily active users.
