GEEKOM Releases New A5 Pro Mini PC

GEEKOM has launched its A5 Pro 2026 Edition, a compact desktop setting a new benchmark for mini PCs in the $600 price range. The company is positioning the device as a high-performance computer for daily tasks, packed in a small form factor with solid build quality.

The global mini PC market is expanding rapidly, projected to grow from USD 26.68 billion in 2026 to USD 40.16 billion by 2032. This growth is largely driven by the increasing demand for compact, energy-efficient computing solutions and the continued trend of remote work. GEEKOM, a brand under Shenzhen Jiteng Network Technology Co., Ltd., was founded in Taiwan in 2003 and shifted its primary focus to the mini PC sector in late 2021. The company has since established itself as a global brand, with sales in over 150 countries and strategic partnerships with component giants like Intel and Kingston. At the heart of the A5 Pro 2026 Edition is the AMD Ryzen R5 7530U, a 6-core, 12-thread processor, paired with integrated Radeon graphics. The unit supports up to four 4K displays and comes standard with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SSD, with options for users to upgrade the memory to 64GB. The device is housed in a solid aluminum alloy chassis designed to withstand up to 200kg of pressure, a feature that distinguishes it from competitors with plastic builds. GEEKOM also offers a 3-year warranty, a longer period than many rivals in the mini PC space typically provide. The A5 Pro enters a competitive field against brands like Beelink, Minisforum, and Acemagic. The choice of the Ryzen 5 7530U processor is a change from the previous generation's more powerful Ryzen 7 5800H, positioning the new model for efficiency in mainstream business and productivity tasks rather than intensive computing.
