BAFTA turns game music into a tour
BAFTA Games in Concert, which premiered in London, will expand into a UK tour offering six dates across May and June and will showcase music from games nominated in BAFTA’s Music category. ( ).
BAFTA’s video game concert is moving beyond its London debut, with six UK dates booked from May 23 to June 7. (bafta.org) The tour stops are Gateshead on May 23, Bristol on May 31, Edinburgh on June 4, Glasgow on June 5, Birmingham on June 6 and Manchester on June 7, according to the official concert site. (liveconcert.games) BAFTA announced the project in September 2025 as a live show built around two decades of music from games nominated for or winning its Music award, with visuals and gameplay footage shown on screen alongside the orchestra. The world premiere was held at Royal Festival Hall in London on January 31, 2026. (bafta.org) The concert is being presented as a 65-piece orchestral show, and the current program lists music from games including *Baldur’s Gate 3*, *Journey*, *Cuphead*, *Disco Elysium*, *Helldivers 2* and *Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture*.
