1/ Fortnite added the FaSHioN emote to the Item Shop on Sept. 8, 2026, pricing it at 500 V-Bucks and labeling it an Icon Series emote. Epic’s item page describes it with the line: “Call it whatever you want.” (fortnite.com) 2/ The key verified fact is that this is a live shop release, not just a leak. Fortnite’s official shop page lists FaSHioN as “New!” today, and third-party tracker Fortnite.GG shows Sept. 8, 2026 as both its release date and first shop appearance. (fortnite.com) 3/ Epic’s page identifies FaSHioN as a “Dance Emote,” which means it syncs to the tempo of nearby Jam Tracks and lets other players join in. That makes it part of Fortnite’s music-linked emote system rather than a static animation. (fortnite.com) 4/ The CORTIS connection appears in social posts circulating the release rather than on the official Fortnite item page. The official listing names the item, price and category, but does not, on the page fetched here, spell out CORTIS in the visible text. Social accounts including HYPEX and ShiinaBR were cited in the source brief as amplifying it on Sept. 8. (fortnite.com) 5/ That distinction matters because Fortnite collabs often show up first as social distribution events as much as store updates. In this case, the hard confirmation is the shop listing itself; the broader “everyone is posting clips” narrative comes from social circulation around the drop, not from an Epic news post in the material available here. (fortnite.com) 6/ The official storefront also ties FaSHioN to Chapter 7, Season 4. Fortnite.GG lists the internal cosmetic ID as EID_FivePoints and marks the emote as having one shop occurrence so far, which is consistent with a same-day debut. (fortnite.gg) 7/ In practical terms, players looking for it should check the Fortnite Item Shop rather than rely on reposted clips. Epic says to “check the in-game Fortnite Item Shop for the full version,” suggesting the web listing is a storefront stub and the complete preview remains in-game. (fortnite.com) 8/ What we can say with confidence today: FaSHioN is real, live, priced at 500 V-Bucks, classified as an Icon Series dance emote, and available in Fortnite’s shop on Sept. 8, 2026. What remains less directly documented in official text is the full presentation of the CORTIS branding beyond the social posts pushing the release. (fortnite.com)
