*The Romantic* marks Bruno Mars's first solo album in nearly a decade, following 2016's *24K Magic*. That previous album was a massive critical and commercial success, ultimately winning the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. The new album's lead single, "I Just Might," signaled his powerful return by debuting at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. The track's immediate success on rhythmic radio further solidified his enduring influence in a streaming-dominated era. While this is his first solo project in years, Mars hasn't been idle. He formed the duo Silk Sonic with Anderson .Paak, releasing *An Evening with Silk Sonic* in 2021. BLACKPINK's "GO" is the second single from their new mini-album, *Deadline*, and was co-written with Coldplay's Chris Martin. The group's releases are known for immediate global chart impact, driven by a massive and highly coordinated fanbase that generates huge first-day sales and streaming numbers. To support the new album, Mars has announced an extensive 71-show concert series, the Romantic Tour. The tour is scheduled to run from April to October 2026, with dates across North America and Europe.
