Sant Josep és Foto in Ibiza is expanding to four days for its second edition and has booked internationally known photographers including Isabel Muñoz, Emilio Morenatti, Joe Cornish, and Lynn Goldsmith. Sant Josep’s photography festival opened its second congress on Thursday, April 16, with a bigger footprint: four days of talks and events instead of last year’s three. (santjosepesfoto.com) The 2026 congress runs from April 16 to April 19 at the Auditori Caló de s’Oli in Sant Josep de sa Talaia, on Ibiza, with Isabel Muñoz opening Thursday night and Lynn Goldsmith closing Sunday morning. (santjosepesfoto.com) The speaker list also includes Emilio Morenatti and British landscape photographer Joe Cornish, alongside Judith Prat, Gonzalo Azumendi, Lluís Real, Joan Costa and others spread across the four-day schedule. (santjosepesfoto.com) The expansion sits inside a longer festival calendar that now runs from March 26 to May 3, with exhibitions, photobook events, a photo marathon and screenings across the municipality. (santjosepesfoto.com; santjosepesfoto.com) That is a broader program than the first edition in April 2025, when the congress was billed for April 11 to April 13 and the festival’s main public draw centered on a three-day gathering plus exhibitions and a marathon. (santjosepesfoto.com) Organizers and local officials have spent months pitching the 2026 edition beyond Ibiza, including presentations in London, Madrid and Mallorca before the spring program began. (santjosepesfoto.com; santjosep.org) The festival is organized by the Sant Josep de sa Talaia town hall and the esFOTO association, with activities split between Caló de s’Oli, Can Jeroni, Can Curt and other local sites. (diariodeibiza.es; santjosepesfoto.com) The 2025 debut gave the town a proof of concept: Diario de Ibiza reported more than 400 attendees overall, a sold-out congress and more than 80 registrations for the marathon. (diariodeibiza.es; diariodeibiza.es) This year’s version keeps the same local formula — talks, outings, exhibitions and public events — but stretches it over more days and adds more international names to put Sant Josep on the photography calendar for longer.
