B-2 Bombers Strike Iranian Nuclear Site
Satellite imagery confirmed three massive bomb impacts at Iran’s Parchin military complex, creating real-world test cases for object detection and damage assessment models.
The Israeli military has claimed responsibility for the strikes, identifying the targeted site as the "Taleghan" facility within the Parchin military complex. They allege it's linked to Iran's nuclear program and was used for advanced explosives testing as part of the AMAD Project. The IDF stated that the Taleghan site was previously struck in October 2024 and that Iran has been rebuilding the facility. Satellite images reportedly show three large holes in a concrete structure built over the facility. The Parchin complex is considered one of Iran's largest and most sensitive defense industrial sites. It houses facilities involved in the production and storage of warheads, missile engines, and systems for missile and munition arrays. The GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) is a 30,000-pound "bunker buster" bomb developed by Boeing and can only be carried by B-2 Spirit bombers. It was reportedly first used in combat in June 2025 during US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
