Robin Beck Returns with 'Living Proof'

Melodic rock powerhouse Robin Beck will release her new album "Living Proof" in May 2026, with the title track and music video already available. The release showcases Beck's signature blend of powerful vocals and catchy hooks. This marks her return to the melodic rock scene with classic style and modern production.

Robin Beck first captured international attention in 1988 when her song "First Time" was featured in a Coca-Cola commercial. The power ballad became a massive hit, spending three weeks at number one on the UK Singles Chart and topping charts in Germany, Switzerland, Norway, and Austria. Despite its European success, "First Time" failed to chart in the United States due to business disagreements between her record label and Coca-Cola. This made her a one-hit wonder in the UK, though she landed subsequent hits in other countries like Germany. Her 1989 album, "Trouble or Nothin'," which featured the hit single, was a collaboration with a team of powerhouse songwriters. The list of contributors included Desmond Child, Diane Warren, Paul Stanley of KISS, and Alice Cooper. "Living Proof" is Beck's 11th studio album and marks her first new release since 2017's "Love Is Coming". The album's creation reunites her with longtime collaborators, including guitarist Tommy Denander and her husband, James Christian of the band House of Lords. The production team for the new record includes Christian as producer, with mixing duties handled by Dennis Ward and the legendary Chris Lord-Alge, who mixed the title track.
