Slice House Restaurant Coming to Fremont

The Italian-American restaurant chain Slice House is opening a new location in Fremont's Pacific Commons shopping center. The expansion marks another addition to the city's growing dining scene, bringing a popular regional brand to the area.

The new Slice House in Fremont is a homecoming for its founder, 13-time World Pizza Champion Tony Gemignani, who grew up in the city. The franchise is known for its fast-casual dining, offering award-winning pizza with a focus on artisan craftsmanship. The Fremont location is situated at 43456 Boscell Road in the Pacific Commons Shopping Center, taking over the space previously occupied by Dog Haus. The franchisees, Hersh Mahavni and Pritika Rajasanshi, also have local roots, having grown up in Fremont and attended high school with Gemignani. An opening is anticipated in the spring of 2026. Diners can expect a variety of pizza styles, including New York, Sicilian, Grandma, and Detroit-style, available by the slice or as whole pies. The menu extends beyond pizza to include fresh pastas, wings, and salads, with gluten-free and vegetarian options available to accommodate different dietary needs. While the full menu for the Fremont branch has not been announced, Slice House is known for creating a unique, locally-inspired pizza for each new location. Signature menu items at other locations include the Cal Italia, a Gold Medal winner on the Food Network, which features asiago, mozzarella, gorgonzola, fig jam, and prosciutto.
