The recent price action for Gork is a revival of a narrative that first exploded in May 2025. The Solana-based meme coin, a parody of Elon Musk's Grok AI, initially surged to a market capitalization of over $130 million after Musk changed his X display name to "Gorklon Rust" and used a Gork-themed avatar.
