Spurs add veteran center Mason Plumlee
The San Antonio Spurs have signed veteran center Mason Plumlee, cleared to play after groin surgery reported.
Plumlee inked a one-year, $939,867 contract with the Spurs. The deal includes full guarantee, with a cap hit of $593,864. His agent is Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports Entertainment. The Spurs initially signed Plumlee to a 10-day contract on February 17, 2026. That contract expired without Plumlee appearing in a game. The Spurs then signed him for the remainder of the season. Before joining the Spurs, Plumlee played 14 games for the Charlotte Hornets in the 2025-26 season, averaging 1.9 points and 2.9 rebounds. He underwent groin surgery in late December and was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder before being waived. In his NBA career, Plumlee has averaged 7.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists.
