Thunder Complete Perfect Road Trip

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 3-0 road trip sweep, topping the New York Knicks 100-92 to cap off their undefeated trip. The win came amid ref controversy over a questionable foul call on SGA late in the game.

The Thunder's perfect 3-0 road trip included victories against the Dallas Mavericks (100-87) and the Chicago Bulls (116-108) before concluding with the win over the Knicks. This recent success is part of a four-game winning streak for Oklahoma City. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's 26-point performance against the Knicks was complemented by 8 assists. Chet Holmgren was also a key contributor, scoring 28 points, including six three-pointers, and grabbing eight rebounds. The victory in New York was particularly significant as it was the Thunder's first road win on the second night of a back-to-back this season, breaking an 0-5 streak in such games. Oklahoma City had previously blown double-digit leads in three of those five losses. The win improves the Thunder's record to 49-15, strengthening their position at the top of the Western Conference standings. Oklahoma City will now return home for a four-game stretch, starting with a matchup against the Golden State Warriors. Following that, they will face the Denver Nuggets, Boston Celtics, and Minnesota Timberwolves.
