New Restaurant Openings in Boston
Boston is seeing several cozy new restaurant openings this month Boston.com’s roundup. Mumbai is getting Sicilian trattorias and Nikkei kitchens South Asia Travel Journal. Bengaluru boasts new concept eateries merging craft and cuisine Architectural Digest India.
Sunny Girl, a sandwich shop in Boston's North End, is opening a second location in South Boston. The new spot will be at 479 W Broadway, in the space previously occupied by McGoo's Pizza. Unlike the North End location, which serves only breakfast and lunch, the South Boston shop will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Several new dining establishments have already opened in Boston in 2026, including Mesob in SoWa. Si Cara, a pizzeria from Michael Lombardi, has opened a second location in South Boston at 400 W. Broadway. Swingers, a U.K.-based mini golf and Detroit-style pizza concept, opened in Back Bay on February 27. Tuscan Brands is launching Sorella in Burlington, replacing the former Tuscan Kitchen. Sorella will feature elevated versions of Tuscan Brands' dishes with a focus on scratch-made pastas. Tuscan Brands is also planning another new concept in Boston, slated to debut in the spring of 2026.
