Taylor Swift Sets June Wedding Date

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have reportedly set a wedding date for June 13, 2026, amid ongoing promotion of her latest album and speculation about future tours. Michael Stipe made a rare appearance to sing two R.E.M. tracks at a Brooklyn concert hosted by Michael Shannon and Jason Narducy. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis also announced their first-ever Las Vegas residency called "Nothing But Hits," debuting in April.

The rumored wedding is reportedly set for the Ocean House, a luxury resort in Rhode Island. To secure the date, which aligns with Swift's well-known affinity for the number 13, the couple allegedly paid another bride a significant sum to move her booking. The June timing would fit neatly into Kelce's NFL off-season, placing the ceremony after the Super Bowl and before the start of training camp. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end signed a two-year, $34.25 million contract extension in 2024. Swift's latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," broke numerous records upon its April 2024 release, becoming Spotify's most-streamed album in a single day and making Swift the first artist to occupy the top 14 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously. Michael Stipe's performance at Brooklyn Steel marked the first time he had sung the R.E.M. tracks "These Days" and "The Great Beyond" live in 18 years. The concert was part of a tour by actor Michael Shannon and musician Jason Narducy celebrating the 40th anniversary of R.E.M.'s album "Lifes Rich Pageant." The Las Vegas residency for Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis will take place at the Voltaire at The Venetian Resort for six nights in April. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, who have produced 42 Billboard No. 1 hits, will be joined by guest vocalists Ruben Studdard and Shanice. This marks the first time the legendary duo will perform their extensive catalog live, sharing the stories behind hits they created for artists like Janet Jackson, Usher, and Mariah Carey. The residency coincides with the 40th anniversary of Jackson's groundbreaking album "Control," which they co-produced and co-wrote.
