NASCAR insider Mamba Smith has picked JGR driver Chase Briscoe to win the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 15. Smith made the prediction on "Kevin Harvick's Happy Hour" podcast, noting Briscoe's need for a win and expected aggressive driving. Briscoe himself has had a rather mediocre performance at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, with no wins in his 10 starts and an average finish of 20.30. However, Briscoe does have two top-five finishes at the track and currently holds +1100 odds to win his first NASCAR Cup Series race of the season. Podcast co-host Kaitlyn Vincie picked Joey Logano, who has four past wins at Las Vegas, while Layne Riggs also chose Logano. Ryan Blaney is currently second in the NASCAR Cup Series driver standings with 165 points, 60 points behind leader Tyler Reddick. Blaney secured his first win of the 2026 season at Phoenix, overcoming pit crew issues. He has a strong track record at Phoenix, with consecutive wins and top-two finishes in six of the last eight races.
