Anthropic said on April 28 that Claude can now connect to Ableton Live, Adobe Creative Cloud, Blender and other creative tools. (anthropic.com) The company said the launch includes connectors for Ableton, Adobe, Affinity by Canva, Autodesk Fusion, Blender, Resolume, SketchUp and Splice. Anthropic described them as tools that let Claude work alongside software creative professionals already use. (anthropic.com) For music producers, the Ableton connector is narrower than an autonomous co-producer. Anthropic said it grounds Claude’s answers in official documentation for Ableton Live and Push. (anthropic.com) That means a user can ask how a Live device works, how to use a feature, or how to approach a synthesis technique, and Claude answers from product docs instead of guessing. Anthropic framed that use case as tutoring and workflow help for complex software. (anthropic.com) Adobe’s connector goes further into execution. Anthropic said it can draw on more than 50 tools across Creative Cloud apps including Photoshop, Premiere and Express to help users make images, video and designs. (anthropic.com) The Blender connector is aimed at technical 3D work. Anthropic said it gives Claude a natural-language interface to Blender’s Python application programming interface, letting users inspect complex setups and reach Blender documentation more easily. (anthropic.com) The broader push is to move Claude from a separate chat window into the software where creative work already happens. Anthropic said the connectors can also help bridge pipelines by translating formats, restructuring data and keeping assets in sync across apps. (anthropic.com) Anthropic has been expanding Claude beyond text chat this month. On April 17, it introduced Claude Design, a research-preview product for creating visual work with Claude Opus 4.7.
