DePIN Project Hivello Launches $HVLO Token on Raydium DEX
The token for Hivello ($HVLO), a Decentralized Physical Infrastructure (DePIN) aggregator, is now live for trading on the Solana-based Raydium decentralized exchange. The launch highlights continued development of utility-focused projects within the Solana ecosystem, even as speculative memecoin activity shows signs of slowing.
- The $HVLO token has a total supply of 10 billion, with 25.3% allocated to ecosystem incentives to reward users for contributing resources. The token's utility includes staking to unlock higher reward tiers, paying for transaction fees, and future governance rights. - Hivello has a strategic plan to use revenue generated from its network to continuously buy back $HVLO tokens and permanently burn them, creating a deflationary mechanism to support long-term value. - The project is backed by notable investors, including a lead investment from Animoca Brands, along with others like NGC Ventures and Blockchain Founders Fund. Hivello has raised a total of $2.5 million over four funding rounds. - A key feature on Hivello's 2025 roadmap is "Hivello Intelligence," an AI-driven system designed to optimize mining rewards for users by analyzing their hardware, location, and network conditions to select the most profitable DePIN activities. - Hivello is expanding its ecosystem through partnerships with other DePIN projects like Swarm, Golem, and Nosana, and aims to integrate with over 50 DePIN networks by the end of 2025. The platform is also exploring expansion to EVM-compatible blockchains by the third quarter of 2025. - To incentivize early adoption, Hivello has allocated 2.5 billion HVLO tokens for a four-year airdrop plan; the first airdrop successfully distributed tokens to over 32,000 user wallets. - The project's founders, Domenic Carosa and Andrew Smith, were also co-founders of Banxa, a publicly traded and regulated crypto payment company, bringing experience in building financial infrastructure to the DePIN space. - In a forward-looking move, Hivello is partnering with Naoris Protocol to integrate quantum-resistant security, aiming to become the first quantum-resistant DePIN earning platform and safeguard against future cryptographic threats.
