New Practice Exam Resource for CEH Certification
A new resource is now available for those preparing for the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) v11 exam. The book, "CEH Certified Ethical Hacker Practice Exams, Fifth Edition," offers over 550 practice questions. The questions cover the exam's expanded topics, including web application security, cloud, and wireless attacks.
- The Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification is awarded by the EC-Council and requires renewal every three years by earning 120 EC-Council Continued Education (ECE) credits. - To be eligible for the exam, candidates must either have two years of documented work experience in the information security field or complete official training from an accredited center. - While the book focuses on the CEH v11 exam, the certification has since been updated to v12 in September 2022 and, more recently, to v13, which incorporates artificial intelligence topics. - The number of attack techniques covered has expanded with each version, growing from approximately 300 in v11 to over 550 in v13. - The primary certification exam consists of 125 multiple-choice questions administered over a four-hour period. - The passing score for the CEH exam is not fixed; it varies between 60% and 85%, depending on the difficulty of the specific set of questions presented to the candidate. - In addition to the multiple-choice exam, there is a separate, hands-on "CEH Practical" exam, which is six hours long and features 20 real-world challenges in a live cyber range. - Professionals who successfully pass both the knowledge-based multiple-choice exam and the CEH Practical exam earn the "CEH Master" designation.
