Rustil Leaves Early Access
Rustil: Eternal Labyrinth Castle hits full 1.0 release March 13 with story mode and a new playable character added. The roguelite focuses on procedurally-generated labyrinthine dungeon crawling.
*Rustil: Eternal Labyrinth Castle* first entered Early Access on April 26, 2024, and is developed by KTMG LLC and published by KIC Games. The game currently holds a "Mostly Positive" rating on Steam from over 270 reviews, with recent reviews being "Very Positive." The full release introduces a new playable hero named Zera Linfa. She is described as a "genius girl scientist" and a Machina who specializes in production-type abilities like enhancing items and modifying traps within the labyrinth. The new story mode follows the protagonist, Rustil, who has no memory of her past and is guided by a fairy named Kotryn into the mysterious castle. The narrative revolves around encountering the souls of fallen heroes and uncovering the truth about the castle and Rustil's own identity. Alongside the story, the 1.0 version adds a new floor to the dungeon called the "Ruined City." This area features futuristic skyscrapers and robotic enemies, blending science fiction elements with the game's existing fantasy setting. A core mechanic of the game is the ability to capture, raise, and summon any monster found within the labyrinth to fight alongside you. The full release also includes an online battle mode to pit players against each other. Other updates in the full version include a revamped 3D model for the main character, Rustil, giving her a new facial design and adjusted proportions. The seven main heroes will also receive unique visuals.
