Manchester's 'What Will Be' drops EP

Manchester's What Will Be just dropped their second EP 'Primordial,' generating buzz in the alternative scene https://x.com/i/status/2031404741776060832.

The 'Primordial' EP, released on February 6th, is a 4-track project drawing inspiration from the elements: wind, water, fire, and earth. Each track explores a different emotional and thematic force, ranging from resilience to confronting depression and reflecting on the past. Critics note the band's sound has evolved, displaying a heavier tone while maintaining their alternative rock roots. "On The Wind" has punchy melodies, while "Tides" incorporates synths. "Into The Fire" leans into their melodic side, and "From The Earth" provides a lively finish. Formed in 2019, What Will Be consists of Bram (vocals/guitar), James (bass), JK (drums), and Chris (keys). They blend anthemic rock riffs with modern synths and piano, drawing inspiration from bands like Incubus, Deftones, and Alter Bridge. The band built their own studio after losing their rehearsal space, allowing them to move towards a heavier, more anthemic sound.
