Albania Riviera Electronic Festivals Set

Albania's coast will host two major electronic festivals in summer 2026: Anjunadeep Explorations (June 11-16) in Dhërmi and UNUM Festival (June 4-8) in Shëngjin. The Albanian Riviera is generating buzz as an emerging destination combining beach relaxation with melodic electronic music.

- UNUM Festival is known for its non-stop music programming, particularly on its "Pine Stage," which runs 24 hours a day in a forest setting. The 2026 edition will be its seventh year, establishing its reputation for underground house and techno. - Anjunadeep Explorations is curated by the London-based record label Anjunadeep and is described as a "boutique" festival experience that combines a beach holiday with music. The event caters to a loyal international fanbase, often referred to as the "Anjunafamily," with a significant number of attendees traveling from the U.S. and U.K. - Beyond the music, Anjunadeep Explorations offers a comprehensive wellness program, including yoga, guided meditation, and gong baths, with some sessions soundtracked by the label's artists. - The festivals are part of a larger trend that has seen Albania compared to Croatia in its early days as a festival destination. The movement began with the launch of Kala Festival in 2018, which first established Dhërmi as a location for international electronic music events. - The rise in music tourism is helping to extend the traditional tourist season in coastal towns like Dhërmi, which was previously busiest in July and August. This has been welcomed by locals for creating new economic opportunities. - Access to the Albanian Riviera is improving, with infrastructure projects underway including a new airport and a tunnel designed to significantly reduce travel time from the capital, Tirana, to the coast. - Past and announced headliners for UNUM have included prominent names in underground electronic music such as Ricardo Villalobos, Ben Klock, Seth Troxler, and Raresh. - Albania's domestic electronic music scene has been developing for years, with a notable underground scene in the capital, Tirana, which has been nicknamed "the new Berlin" for its growing club culture.
