New Music Production Plugins Drop
Ayaic launched M3 Master Monolith Mixer v2.0, a major update expanding workflow controls and introducing scalable mixer environments for producers. Rhodes Music also unveiled "Pianology," a curated collection of expressive acoustic and electric piano sounds, while iZotope updated Equinox reverb to v1.1.0.
Ayaic's M3 Master Monolith Mixer v2.0 builds upon their existing Mix Monolith system, providing a centralized control interface for multiple plugin instances across a project. The update, available for an introductory price of $299, aims to give the unconventional workflow a more traditional mixer feel. New features in version 2.0 include freely scalable sizing to fit any workspace, group tabs for hiding or showing sets of modules, and an infinite color palette for better organization. The update also adds a designated "Amount" fader with pre-fader selection for more precise control. The "Pianology" collection from Rhodes Music features three deeply sampled instruments: an American concert grand, a Japanese upright piano, and a vintage Japanese electric grand. The entire sound library requires approximately 14 GB of storage space. Pianology is being offered at an introductory price of $104.95. Its built-in effects suite, which includes a preamp, 3-band EQ, compressor, and various modulation effects, is derived from the company's flagship V8 Pro plugin engine. The iZotope Equinox reverb is built on the algorithms from two legacy Exponential Audio plugins, Stratus and Symphony. A key feature is its adaptive unmasking technology, which is designed to automatically carve out space for the reverb signal to prevent muddying the mix. The recent update to version 1.1.0 expands the plugin's capabilities for immersive audio. It specifically adds support for 7.1.4 and 9.1.6 channel configurations in certain VST3 hosts and AU instances within Logic Pro.
