The hybrid 911 Turbo S achieves 0-60 mph in 2.2 seconds and 0-100 mph in 4.7 seconds. This is 0.4 and 0.9 seconds quicker, respectively, than the outgoing non-hybrid model. The electric motor contributes 148 horsepower, resulting in a total output of 900 horsepower. The gasoline engine alone delivers 749 lb-ft of torque. Despite the added hybrid components, the car only gains about 220 pounds. This is thanks to a relatively small 1.9-kWh battery. The integration of hybrid technology enhances the driving experience, making it more responsive and engaging. Car and Driver calls it "approachable insanity" because of how easy it is to control the immense power.
