AEW Collision features a loaded card tonight with Timeless Toni Storm vs. Zayda Steel, an 8-Man Tag with Lance Archer, Josh Alexander, Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta vs. Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, Pac, plus Tomohiro Ishii vs. Andrade El Idolo and Tommaso Ciampa vs. Jay Lethal. The singles contest between Tomohiro Ishii and Andrade El Idolo marks the first time the two veterans have ever faced each other one-on-one. Ishii is a decorated multi-time former champion from New Japan Pro-Wrestling, while Andrade recently challenged for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship at an NJPW event in the U.S. Tommaso Ciampa is just weeks removed from a short, 11-day reign as the TNT Champion, which he won in his AEW debut match. After losing the title to Kyle Fletcher, Ciampa has made his intentions clear: he is targeting Fletcher upon his return from Australia to reclaim the championship.
