Milan Design Week lineup
Milan Design Week is ramping up for April 20–26 with fashion and design bleeding into one programme — think pop‑ups, installations and museum tie‑ins. Moncler is taking over the 10 Corso Como gallery with a summer pop‑up and KINRADEN’s Stilos jewelry will appear on the ground floor, while Prada returns with Prada Frames for its fifth edition as part of the city’s events ( ). Wallpaper will also run a Milan kiosk at Via Tivoli 8 from April 20–24 selling city guides, so there are small editorial activations as well as the big brand shows (wallpaper.com).
Milan Design Week opens across the city on April 20, with fashion labels, furniture brands and media titles folding into one weeklong design program. (fuorisalone.it, salonemilano.it) The citywide Fuorisalone program runs April 20 to 26, while the 64th Salone del Mobile fair runs April 21 to 26 at Fiera Milano Rho. Salone says the fair has more than 1,900 exhibitors, 227 brands including first-timers and returnees, and more than 169,000 square metres of sold-out exhibition space. The same site will also host projects by Linde Freya Tangelder with Cassina, Visionnaire and Imperfettolab. Prada says this year’s program, titled “In Sight,” will examine image-making and will be staged at Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan. Official Fuorisalone listings show 918 events across the city as of this week, spread across districts including Brera, Moscova and other central venues. Wallpaper* said it will run a branded kiosk at Via Tivoli 8 from April 20 to 24 to mark the return of its travel guides, using a flower kiosk redesigned by architecture practice DWA with furniture by Milan studio NM3. SaloneSatellite, the fair’s platform for younger talent, will include 700 designers under 35 and 23 international schools and universities.
