CASI St. Patrick's Day Race Scheduled

The annual CASI St. Patrick's Day Race is scheduled for March 14th in Chaska, featuring a Tot Trot, a 1-mile Family Run, and a 5k race, with registration currently open.

The annual CASI St. Patrick's Day Race, now in its 44th year, is a major fundraiser for the Center for Active Seniors, Inc. (CASI). Proceeds from the race support CASI's mission to enrich the lives of area seniors by providing services that promote independence through socialization, health and wellness programs. CASI, located in Davenport, Iowa, is a 40,000-square-foot facility that offers various activities, classes, community forums, a fitness center, and educational opportunities for seniors. The organization aims to provide dignity and respect to older adults in the community. The race includes a Tot Trot, a 1-mile Family Fun Run, and a 5k race. In addition to running, participants can register as a "Ghost Runner" to support CASI and receive a t-shirt. The race after-party, sponsored by Iowa American Water, will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel immediately following the 5k race and includes free admission and live music. Packet pick-up will take place the day before the race at CASI and on race day at the DoubleTree Hotel.
