Vonage and C3 AI Partner on AI Services

Vonage and C3 AI have announced a partnership to deliver network-enabled, agentic AI solutions for mobile workforces. The collaboration signals a broader enterprise trend of integrating AI into core operational layers. This move increases client expectations for agency partners to offer integrated, AI-driven business solutions beyond just creative services.

- The joint solution, called C3 AI Field Services, integrates Vonage's communication APIs (Voice, Video) and network APIs (Quality on Demand, Verify) directly into a module of C3 AI's Asset Performance Suite. This equips field technicians with mobile-first AI agents that provide real-time, step-by-step guidance. - A key feature is the use of "agentic AI," which allows the system to autonomously perceive its environment, make decisions, and execute complex tasks without constant human oversight, moving beyond simple task automation. The system coordinates multiple AI agents and machine-learning models to retrieve data, perform reasoning, and generate natural language summaries for technicians. - Specific tools for technicians include a voice-based chat interface with noise cancellation for troubleshooting in loud environments and the ability to securely log in via network-based verification without removing gloves. - To improve first-time fix rates, the platform allows a technician to collaborate with a remote expert through a live, HD-quality video call. Vonage's Quality on Demand (QoD) API ensures high network performance for this feature, even in areas with significant network congestion. - The collaboration addresses common field service challenges like skill shortages and fragmented information by creating a knowledge management system. Technicians can download instruction videos and upload their own HD videos with AI-generated summaries to be used for training, compliance, and quality assurance. - The partnership was announced on February 11, 2026, and the joint solution is currently available for demonstrations. It is scheduled to be showcased at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona from March 2-5, 2026.
