Anthropic on April 28 released nine Claude connectors for creative software, pushing its AI assistant deeper into design, 3D, audio and video work. (anthropic.com) The new connectors tie Claude to tools from Adobe, Blender, Ableton, Autodesk Fusion, SketchUp, Splice, Affinity by Canva, Resolume Arena and Resolume Wire. Anthropic said the goal is to let Claude work alongside software creative professionals already use. (anthropic.com) Anthropic said Adobe’s connector can draw on more than 50 Creative Cloud tools, while Blender’s gives Claude a natural-language interface to Blender’s Python application programming interface. Splice’s connector lets music producers search royalty-free samples from inside Claude. (anthropic.com) The move broadens Anthropic’s pitch beyond programmers. In a January 21 announcement, the company said it was partnering with Teach For All to bring Claude training and access to educators in 63 countries. (anthropic.com) Anthropic said that education initiative, called the AI Literacy & Creator Collective, could reach more than 100,000 teachers and alumni across a network serving more than 1.5 million students. The company said educators would help shape how Claude evolves for classroom use. (anthropic.com) The hiring now reflects that broader push. A Technical Specialist, Claude Code role posted April 27 says Anthropic is building a team to deepen adoption at strategic customers before and after deals close. (jobs.generalcatalyst.com) That posting says the job is not an implementation role. Instead, the specialist would run workshops, support pilots, appear at customer events and builder summits, and build demo apps and reference implementations in Claude Code and Cowork. (jobs.generalcatalyst.com) The pay range on that listing is $180,000 to $365,000 in San Francisco. A separate Technical Enablement Lead role says Anthropic wants someone to build Claude Code training, demo scripts, labs and use-case libraries for go-to-market teams, partners and customers. (jobs.generalcatalyst.com) (jobera.com) Anthropic’s public jobs board also shows roles such as Developer Education Lead and Design Engineer, AI Capability Development (Education Labs), alongside its larger slate of research and engineering openings. The board listed 454 jobs when viewed on April 29. (job-boards.greenhouse.io) The picture from this week’s product launch and this month’s hiring is a company adding more translator roles: people who can teach, demo, integrate and adapt Claude for specific professions, not just build the underlying models.
