DTM Porsche gets new livery

Land Motorsport revealed its 2026 DTM Porsche 911 GT3 R race livery for driver Bastian Buus in a recent team post, showing the car’s updated look ahead of the DTM season. The images were shared on social channels as the team ramps toward its 2026 race entries. (x.com)

Land-Motorsport has unveiled the 2026 DTM livery for Bastian Buus’s Porsche 911 GT3 R, giving the team’s new Porsche program its first full public look. (sportsoftheday.com) The car uses a black-and-red scheme with white accents, and the team has given it the name “Scarlett,” according to a report published April 14. The design appeared as DTM teams gathered for the official test at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria. (sportsoftheday.com) This is Land-Motorsport’s first DTM season with Porsche after a decade running Audi machinery. DTM said on November 30, 2025 that Land would switch manufacturers and enter the Porsche 911 GT3 R for 2026 with Buus as its first confirmed driver. (dtm.com) Buus, a 22-year-old from Kolding, Denmark, arrives with Porsche credentials that fit the move. Porsche lists him as the 2023 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup champion and says he begins DTM competition in 2026 with Land Motorsport. (racing.porsche.com) The livery reveal lands 10 days before the 2026 DTM season opener. Porsche said on April 14 that the championship starts April 24-26 at the Red Bull Ring and runs eight rounds, ending October 9-11 at Hockenheimring. (racing.porsche.com) Porsche will have three cars on the 2026 DTM grid, the same total as in 2025, but split differently. Porsche said reigning champion Manthey will run two 911 GT3 R entries, while Land adds a second team presence with one car for Buus. (racing.porsche.com) Land’s 2026 effort also marks a reset after a solid DTM debut season in 2025. Porsche said the team scored one race win and multiple podium finishes last year before changing brands for 2026. (racing.porsche.com) The “Scarlett” name follows a Land-Motorsport habit of naming its race cars, and the team reportedly asked fans on social media for suggestions before choosing it. The same report said sponsor logos visible on the car include Joyn, Eibach, Uponor and Ravenol. (sportsoftheday.com) The new paint scheme is the visible part of a bigger change: a new manufacturer, a new driver pairing, and a season that starts at the same track where the car is now being tested. By the time DTM racing begins on April 24, “Scarlett” will already have had its first public shakedown. (dtm.com) (sportsoftheday.com)
