Pokémon GO is rerunning its GO Bigger event on Saturday, April 25, with a three-hour window for Gigantamax Max Battles in local time. (pokemon.com) From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Gigantamax Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, and Gengar will appear at designated Power Spots. Players need teams of Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon to challenge them. (pokemon.com) Niantic is stacking event bonuses around those battles: the Max Particle collection cap rises to 1,600, all Power Spots host Gigantamax fights, and Power Spots refresh more often with extra locations active. (pokemon.com) Other bonuses start earlier on April 25. From 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, players get 2× Max Particles from exploring and one-quarter adventuring distance to receive Max Particles. (pokemon.com) Max Battles are Pokémon GO’s giant-boss format built around Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon, and they happen at Power Spots instead of standard Gyms. This replay puts four Kanto-region Gigantamax bosses back into circulation on one afternoon schedule. (pokemon.com) The event also leans on in-person coordination. Leek Duck’s event guide says players can use Pokémon GO’s RSVP Planner and Campfire tools to find nearby Max Battles, flares, and meetups. (leekduck.com) A paid add-on is available for US$4.99. It unlocks Timed Research during the event window with rewards of one Max Mushroom, 25,000 experience points, and 6,400 Max Particles, plus 2× experience from Max Battles. (pokemon.com) The remote-play rules loosen slightly, but only for a set window. The daily Remote Raid limit increases from 10 to 20 from April 24 at 5:00 p.m. to April 25 at 8:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time, and players can make up to three Special Trades on the day. (pokemon.com) For players who missed the first run, April 25 is a second shot at four of Pokémon GO’s biggest Kanto battles before the event rotates out again at 5:00 p.m. local time. (pokemon.com)
