SmartGym ships a major update
SmartGym pushed a big app update adding stretch suggestions, segmented routines, and training‑load tracking to make sessions easier to structure and recover from (x.com). Early social reactions praised the update for helping athletes chunk workouts and track overload across cycles (x.com).
SmartGym released the update on March 19, 2026 as part of what coverage called a “Massive March Drop.” (9to5mac.com)) The package includes a redesigned Routine View and overhauled Routines tab intended to make navigation and session overview clearer for users. (appshunter.io)) Users can now choose to apply edits to a repeated exercise across every plan or limit a change to a single routine, a global-edit option highlighted in contemporaneous reporting. (macobserver.com)) SmartGym’s product catalog lists more than 700 animated exercises and native apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, which the company says underpin the update’s cross-device sync. (newsbreak.com)) SmartGym is an App Store Award winner and was previously recognized as an Apple Watch standout; the app’s full feature set sits behind subscription tiers currently listed at $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year.
