Guardforce AI Extends Partnership with Sportswear Brand

The extended partnership will see Guardforce AI's technology implemented in five more of the sportswear brand's Thailand stores in 2026, with an additional installation planned for 2027. This follows a successful proof-of-concept in mid-2025 and the subsequent deployment of AI camera systems in 13 stores and similar smart retail solutions in two other locations that same year. Guardforce AI's system for the brand integrates AI-powered CCTV surveillance with RFID-based inventory management. This combination is designed to enhance store security, reduce theft, decrease inventory errors, and cut down on manual labor. The technology also optimizes store layouts and provides detailed analytics correlating foot traffic with sales performance. This collaboration is part of the global sportswear brand's nationwide renovation plan in Thailand. By acting as a key technology partner, Guardforce AI is supporting the brand's efforts to enhance customer experience and boost operational efficiency in a competitive retail market. Beyond retail, Guardforce AI is expanding its AI-driven solutions into other sectors. The company's proprietary Intelligent Cloud Platform (ICP) supports a range of applications in robotics, secured logistics, and even travel planning through an AI assistant called DVGO. The Singapore-based Guardforce AI has deep roots in Thailand, initially founded as a security and logistics provider in 1982. The company has a significant operational footprint in the country's retail and banking sectors, serving over 5,000 retail stores through its established secured logistics business. This move into broader AI and robotics solutions, including a Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) model, signals the company's evolution. In a recent move to bolster its AI capabilities, Guardforce AI announced a non-binding letter of intent to acquire MGAI Limited, a developer of AI-powered speech therapy solutions.
