The 18th Culinary Art India (CAI) is being held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from March 10-14. The event is organized by the Indian Culinary Forum (ICF) in collaboration with the India Trade Promotion Organisation and Hospitality First. This year's competition has official endorsement from the World Association of Chefs' Societies (WACS), marking a milestone for the event and aligning it with international standards. Over 600 chefs, apprentices, and culinary students from across India are participating in over 18 categories. Categories include artistic pastry, wedding cakes, fruit carving, plated appetizers, regional Indian cuisine, and live cooking. International competitors from Nepal, Thailand, and the USA are also participating. A jury of WACS-certified members from India and abroad, chaired by Rick Stephen, will evaluate the entries.
