BIM Giant Revizto Debuts AI Integration
Revizto just debuted a groundbreaking AI integration for its platform at the Made Right 2026 conference. The new feature is designed to streamline BIM coordination and project management, signaling a major push to embed AI directly into core architectural workflows.
The new AI integration is built on a "bring your own AI" model, a departure from the closed, proprietary AI systems seen elsewhere in the market. This approach ensures that a firm's project data is never utilized for AI training, giving companies full control over their intellectual property. This strategy is designed to build trust in an industry where data security is paramount and mistakes can be costly. At the core of this new feature is the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a universal standard for AI connectivity that allows users to interact with their project data using conversational AI tools. This enables teams to perform real-time issue management, conduct model audits, and automate workflows directly through their preferred AI interface. The demonstration at the Made Right conference showcased the ability to directly query Revizto project data. This development follows Revizto's earlier integration with Buildots, which brought AI-powered predictive analytics for construction progress tracking into the platform. That integration uses computer vision to identify and export construction deviations, complete with photo documentation and precise BIM model locations, directly into Revizto's issue-tracking system. The platform itself is built on a game engine, enabling it to handle the massive datasets of large-scale projects, a feature critical for the complex urban developments and commercial architecture that major firms like Jacobs, AECOM, and Skanska handle. This underlying technology facilitates the platform's core functions of unifying 2D drawings and 3D models for real-time collaboration and clash detection.
