PhysicsWallah has partnered with Microsoft to launch certification courses in generative artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital marketing in India. (outlookbusiness.com) The programs will be delivered through PW Skills, PhysicsWallah’s skilling arm, and will use Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, GitHub, and Microsoft Office 365 in course work. Introductory modules will be free on YouTube. (yourstory.com) Analytics India Magazine reported that the data analytics track also includes Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft’s data platform for combining storage, analysis, and business dashboards in one system. The courses are aimed at students and early-career professionals. (analyticsindiamag.com) The partnership extends PhysicsWallah’s push beyond test preparation into job-skills training. YourStory reported in August 2023 that the company was already betting on skilling to bridge the gap between education and industry hiring. (yourstory.com) PhysicsWallah has also kept building ties with Microsoft around artificial intelligence tools. Microsoft Research said in February 2025 that it was working with PhysicsWallah to improve artificial intelligence tutoring systems for students in India. (microsoft.com) The new courses are being positioned outside India’s biggest cities as well. YourStory and Analytics India Magazine both said the rollout targets learners in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, where lower-cost online training has been a core part of PhysicsWallah’s expansion. (yourstory.com) PhysicsWallah entered 2026 with fresh capital to support that broader strategy. YourStory reported in September 2024 that the company raised $210 million at a $2.8 billion post-money valuation from Hornbill Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, WestBridge, and GSV Ventures. (yourstory.com) Microsoft already runs a formal Training Services Partner program for companies that deliver Microsoft-aligned technical learning and certification prep. That gives context for why platform-specific tools such as Copilot and Power BI are showing up inside third-party job-skills courses. (learn.microsoft.com) The immediate test is whether free introductory lessons convert into paid enrollments and job outcomes. For PhysicsWallah, the deal adds one more route from classroom learning into software-linked credentials that employers can recognize. (outlookbusiness.com)
