The video showcases a humorous take on F1 pit stops, with Verstappen's crew "servicing" Cook's golf cart. It's a promotional tie-in to Apple's deeper involvement with Formula 1. Apple TV is now the exclusive U.S. broadcaster for F1, starting in 2026. The five-year deal replaces ESPN and marks a shift to direct-to-consumer streaming. The partnership extends beyond broadcasting, integrating F1 content across Apple's ecosystem. This includes Apple Music, Maps, News, and Fitness+. Apple Maps will offer detailed circuit maps, and Apple Music will feature driver-curated playlists. Apple is investing significantly in F1, aiming to enhance the fan experience and reach new audiences. Eddy Cue, Apple's SVP of Services, is spearheading this initiative. The goal is to make F1 a bigger part of American sports culture. Select races and practice sessions will be available for free on the Apple TV app. F1 TV Premium will also be available to Apple TV subscribers. Apple is also collaborating with Netflix, featuring "Drive to Survive" on Apple TV while Netflix will livestream the Canadian Grand Prix.
