SiteGround Launches AI App Builder for SMBs
Web hosting platform SiteGround has launched Coderick AI, a new tool designed to let small businesses build custom software without technical expertise. The move aims to lower the financial and technical barriers for small companies needing tailored applications.
Coderick AI operates on a "vibe coding" principle, allowing users to build applications by describing their needs in a chat interface. The system interprets these natural language prompts to generate not just the user interface, but also the backend logic and database, a significant step beyond many AI tools that only produce prototypes. This new platform is an all-in-one solution, bundling the app creation process with hosting, security, and deployment directly on SiteGround's infrastructure. This integrated approach means users don't need to manage separate services for hosting, databases, or version control, as these are automatically included for every application built. SiteGround, a web hosting company with over two decades of experience, is positioning this as a strategic move beyond traditional hosting services. The company's CEO, Nikolay Todorov, stated the goal is to empower anyone with an idea to publish a live project without needing coding skills or a technical team. The tool is designed to create a wide range of production-ready applications, from business websites and portfolios to more complex internal tools like CRMs and client dashboards. Every app created is equipped with features like user authentication and is built to handle real-world traffic from the moment it's launched.
