Yungblud Expands Grammy-Nominated Album
Yungblud released "Idols (Complete)," an extended edition of his Grammy-nominated album adding seven new tracks. The expanded version includes a fresh take on "Zombie" featuring The Smashing Pumpkins, bridging alt-rock generations. The release offers fans a substantial batch of new music from the rising alt-rock artist.
- The original album, titled "Idols," was released in June 2025 and was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. The original version of the single "Zombie" was also nominated for Best Rock Song. - At the same 2026 Grammy ceremony, Yungblud took home the award for Best Rock Performance for his cover of "Changes" at a farewell concert for Ozzy Osbourne. He was the first British artist to ever receive three Grammy nominations in the rock categories in a single year. - The collaboration is the first time in The Smashing Pumpkins' career that they have been a featured artist on another artist's song.
