Disney’s Marquet Hall plans

Disney Parks unveiled Marquet Hall, a new signature restaurant coming to the Asteria Storyliving community in Raleigh, North Carolina, alongside Peter Pan–themed public spaces. The announcement frames the venue as part of a larger community hospitality build-out (x.com).

Disney’s planned Asteria community in North Carolina now has a centerpiece: Marquet Hall, a restaurant Disney says will anchor the new Second Star Club for residents. (disneyparksblog.com) Disney Parks Blog published the new details on April 15, 2026, describing Marquet Hall as the “go-to spot on game day” with indoor and outdoor seating inside the club campus. The same update said the club’s design draws on the celestial compass from Disney’s 1953 film *Peter Pan*. (disneyparksblog.com) The restaurant is part of a larger amenity package at Asteria that also includes Aster Green, a wellness center, maker spaces called The Studios, pools, tennis and pickleball courts, and an event pavilion called Piedmont Proper. Disney also said Lost Key Cottage will host celebrations and overnight stays, subject to added fees and availability. (disneyparksblog.com; disneyparksblog.com) Asteria is Disney’s second Storyliving by Disney community after Cotino in Rancho Mirage, California. The North Carolina project is planned for Pittsboro’s Chatham Park, just outside the Raleigh area, with sales anticipated to begin in late 2027. (storylivingbydisney.com; storylivingbydisney.com) Disney first announced Asteria on December 6, 2023, saying the community would span about 1,500 acres in Chatham County and eventually include about 4,000 residences, including some homes designated for residents age 55 and older. The company linked the project to the Research Triangle and framed it as a “campus of discovery” built around learning and outdoor life. (disneyparksblog.com; storylivingbydisney.com) The business model is broader than a housing subdivision. Disney says Imagineers shape the story and amenities, Disney Cast Members manage the community and club spaces, and mandatory club membership will require dues, fees, and approval. (storylivingbydisney.com; disneyparksblog.com) Disney also says it is not the developer, builder, or seller of homes at Storyliving communities. Asteria is being developed with DMB Development, while Disney’s own disclosures say proposed amenities, branding, and management can change or be canceled. (disneyparksblog.com; storylivingbydisney.com) That makes Marquet Hall less like a standalone restaurant opening in Raleigh and more like a marker of how Disney is building a private hospitality ecosystem inside a branded residential project. For now, the company is still selling the plan: the homes are not yet on sale, and the amenities remain proposed. (storylivingbydisney.com; storylivingbydisney.com)
