Stellar Gate launches Saturn
Stellar Gate announced Saturn DEX V4 on devnet, introducing agent‑driven features such as flash arbitrage, limit orders, prediction markets and AI‑managed vaults for autonomous DeFi execution. The devnet launch positions the DEX to experiment with autonomous agent workflows before mainnet release (x.com).
A decentralized exchange is a crypto marketplace run by smart contracts instead of a broker. Stellar Gate said it has put Saturn DEX V4 on devnet, a test network where developers can try new code before real users’ funds are involved. (github.com) The project’s public code repository lists 16 Saturn DEX V4 contracts, including modules for swaps, fees, rewards, flash arbitrage, limit orders, prediction markets and agent vaults. The repository says those contracts are designed for the Phantasma Phoenix chain and includes 257 example scripts for calling them. (github.com) Saturn’s live interface is already online at Stellar Gate’s domain and prompts users to connect a Phantasma wallet. The landing page identifies the product as “Saturn DEX” and says it was made by Infinite Star Studios in Lima, Peru. (saturn.stellargate.io) Flash arbitrage is software that tries to capture small price gaps between markets in one fast sequence of trades. Limit orders let traders set a target price in advance, while prediction markets let users trade on the outcome of future events instead of on a token alone. (nansen.ai) (github.com) Agent vaults are the part of Saturn V4 aimed at autonomous trading. The V4 contract list names that module “saturnvaults” and labels its source file “AgentVaults,” indicating the exchange is being built to let software agents manage pooled strategies onchain. (github.com) The chain underneath Saturn is Phantasma Phoenix, a layer 1 blockchain that pitches itself for gaming, smart contracts and digital assets. Phantasma’s site says the network is built for decentralized applications, while a recent project update said Phoenix V1 launched on April 28, 2025. (phantasma.info 1) (phantasma.info 2) That timing matters because Phantasma’s devnet only gained full contract functionality recently. Coindar, citing the project’s release schedule, said Phantasma Phoenix enabled full contract deployment and upgrades on devnet about two weeks ago, giving projects like Saturn a place to test more complex contract systems before mainnet. (coindar.org) Stellar Gate has tied Saturn to a broader “Solar Operations Center” hub that also includes a game, token dashboard and wallet-based login pages. The Saturn rollout shows the team pushing deeper into decentralized finance tooling on the same brand infrastructure it already uses for its gaming and community products. (stellargate.io) (soc.stellargate.io) (play.stellargate.io) For now, the launch is a software test, not a full public release. The code, the wallet prompt and the devnet setup all point to the same next step: seeing whether autonomous trading tools can work in practice before Saturn moves onto mainnet.
