Adebayo’s performance is the highest-scoring game since Kobe Bryant's 81-point game in 2006. Only Wilt Chamberlain has scored more points in a single NBA game, with his 100-point game in 1962. Adebayo also surpassed his previous career-high of 41 points. He was incredibly efficient, shooting 25-33 from the field in addition to his perfect night at the free throw line. The Heat defeated the Wizards by a score of 140-128. This win improves the Heat's playoff positioning as they battle for a top seed in the Eastern Conference.
